FOC and CPR-Fish meets with State legislators.  01/15/08

This week members from of the FOC and CPR-Fish met to discuss our concerns with three different legislators' staff and the WDFW to address our concerns over the actions that Tacoma and its FTC has taken on the Cowlitz and its fishery. We will continue to met and discuss our concerns until they are fully addressed. We emphasized our concerns that if they (the FTC) continues on as they have been, that our fisheries will suffer catastrophic effects to both our fish and our local economics. This elite group will have to start doing there dirty work in the open and stop its secrecy of the past. We will remain committed to continue to fight for you, the sport fisher, and our Cowlitz fish.

 A special thanks needs to go out to FOC member Lonnie Goble for his hard work, time, and efforts in arranging these meetings. Lonnie is truly a great member to have on the FOC's and the fish's side. We also would like to thank Dave Becker for his work and expert impute at these meetings too.
